Camp Beaver - The Perfect Getaway
LIVING WITH NATURE Always exercise caution when living with nature. Use extra precaution when
walking around property grounds. For added safety remain within cemented walk area.
THE
FEED ZONE Corn will be left in the "Feed" Zone. Various animals (deer, squirrels, raccoons, rabbits, birds)
may appear when corn is present. Excessive noise and movement may frighten some animals away.
ANIMALS CROSSING (No hunting or shooting) Animals have exceptionally sharp instincts and sensory
skills that capturing them in their natural habitat is a rare thrill. Observe Only. Attempting to touch or interact
with the animals can be unsafe. No hunting or shooting is allowed on property.
PRIVACY PLEASE? The blinds may be lowered after dark to fit your comfort level, but leaving them open will increase
your chance to view the animals that may stroll near the feed zone. It is also very delightful
to catch the natural sparkle of nature's gentle rays of sunlight when they enter during the morning.
Camp Beaver's outside lighting can be turned on to sufficiently illuminate after dark.
ON-SITE
GRILLING/FIREWORKS To
avoid forest fires, outside grilling, open-flame fire or fireworks is prohibited. Stove with Oven,
deep fryer and cooking utensils are provided for your use. Grilling and picnic sites are available inside park
area.
CANDLES Always use caution when burning candles.
NEVER leave burning candles unattended and never fall asleep with burning candles. Burn candles in containers where
flame is unexposed, but never assume that an unexposed flame is safe when left unattended. Before leaving cabin, make
sure all candles have been extinguished.
MICROWAVE
SAFETY The
microwave is in an above-the-shoulders location. Extra precaution should be used when removing hot foods. For
added safety against hot spills, a footstool has been provided for your use.
DON'T
BE LEFT IN THE DARK Camp Beaver is equipped with a
total of 31 electrical switches, inside and out. Each light switch is assigned a number. See onsite manual for
description and location.
ENTERTAINMENT A variety of CD's and DVD's are onsite for your entertainment but feel free to bring your personal favorites. CD's
and DVD's are numbered for tracking ability and are inventoried after each visit. Camp Beaver does not provide
a land line phone or internet service. Cell phone and basic phone internet service will work inside/outside
the cabin. Gently reposition to find your best hot spot for texting
or emailing.
SOFA, LEATHER CHAIR AND OTTOMAN Italian leather
is beautiful and has a natural feel. Help protect its beauty by avoiding spills from foods or liquids such as lotions
and oily sprays. Towels are conveniently provided.
THUMP, THUMP Don't be startled by the occasional
thumping on the red tin roof. Nature is constantly shedding its foliage. Pine cones, small branches and other
foliage may fall onto the roof from squirrels travelling the trees or by other means of nature.
CLUMP, CLUMP The ice maker can be quite startling in a quiet setting. Adjust lever to disengage as necessary.
IT'S
A FRESH IDEA Keep it fresh. Avoid the lingering smells
that comes from frying inside. Electrical outlets are conveniently located for outside frying.
It's a Fresh Idea.
HAMMOCK TIME The hammock is hung if the weather is nice
and sunny. It is stored inside to protect from weatherization. It can be easily hung from the hammock
hardware attached outside.
