Keeping it Simple

Occupants are responsible for preparing their meals.  Frozen meals are always an option, but a little planning will provide for more healty and tasty meals and more time for relaxing.  The suggestions and samples below are provided only as a guide to assist you in your shopping and planning.  Use creativity.  All kitchen-ware available as seen in photos.

 

BREAKFAST:  Meat of your choice, eggs, grits or oatmeal, Small/med milk/juice/water, frozen biscuits, bagels, croissant or toast, yogurt or cream cheese, fruit.

Healthy Choice

LUNCH:  Consider preparing your snack items in advance (i.e., chicken salad) or pick up your favorite fresh deli meat for sandwiches.  Add choice of bread or crackers along with your choice of added condiments, (lettuce, tomatoes, olives, pickles, cheese and fruit.

DINNER: Baked Salmon, Talapia or Orange Roughy, (lemons to saute/garnish) bake potato, sour cream/butter, green salad/dressing and bread of choice (rolls, croissants, etc.)

READY TO BAKE TIPS:  Prepare, season and wrap meat portions, vegetables, separately in foil.  keep cool.  No need to unwrap.  Just place your foil-wrapped meal into a baking dish and bake.  It's oven ready!!
